This tutorial guides you through the steps of taking a finished pencil or inked drawing to a full color CG painting. I use Photoshop 5.5 for the entire thing so for those of you with earlier or later versions, your shortcuts and methods might need to be adapted. You'll need to be at least basically familiar with Photoshop's layout and tools, but for the most part anything beyond beginner level is explained. You will need WinZip or a similar unzipping program to open the file after downloading the deviation. If you prefer not to download a zip file, you can go directly to the version on my website at [link]

This is an excellent tutorial with some very helpful color and shading techniques, and isn't unlike some of the techniques I use for recoloring b&w photographs. Perhaps next time include a link to the online version of the tutorial in the description, since maybe some peeps don't want to download a zip file to their computer (like me :) )

That gives me a lot of great ideas. I've read a lot of different ways to color images in photoshop from scans but i think this one about takes the cake. Sugoi!!!!!!!

This has to be the most detailed and well worked out tutorial i've seen yet. :)
