...but not the good kind of surprise

Feeling particularly sore and a bit out of it right now - on Monday afternoon I ended up in the ER. The continuing gallbladder problems I've had had lead not just to another agonizing attack, but also were causing pancreatitis. Given that new complication, they wouldn't let me leave this time, and I stayed to have surgery to remove my gallbladder last night around 7pm. I couldn't take the horrible bitchiness of the nurse today, so I pushed to get out of there as soon as possible this morning, despite still being in a lot of pain. This was not the way I wanted to be spending this week.

Also, to all those 'tards in the ER that made me have to wait three and a half hours just to be evaluated: you do NOT have the swine flu! God damnit.
